The goal of the Education & Human Resources programs of the University of Virginia MRSEC Center for Nanoscopic Materials Design is to ensure center impact both within and beyond the nanoscience community. Educational outreach efforts target middle and high school students and teachers, as well as students at the undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctorate levels. Academic & Industrial Outreach efforts target the development of collaborative research partnerships with nanotechnology groups in academic institutions, industry, and national labs across the country and around the world. Currently, center support contributes to a number of programs, including:
